Brigadier General Leland D. Blanchard II is the Commanding General (Interim), District of Columbia National Guard. As Commanding General, he is responsible for the strategic leadership, training, readiness, operational employment and performance of the Army and Air Force components of the D.C. National Guard. General Andonie oversees Joint Force Headquarters-Air, which includes the 113th Wing's F-16 Fighting Falcon that secures the skies over the Nation’s Capital and C-40 Clipper that transports members of Congress and other dignitaries globally. He also oversees the Land Component Command, which includes the 74th Troop Command, 260th Regiment (Regional Training Institute), the 1-224th Aviation Security and Support Battalion, and the 1-226th General Support Aviation Battalion, which consists of the UH-60 Black Hawk, UH-72 Lakota and the C-26 Metroliner.

Brig. Gen. Natasha S. Taylor is the Director, Joint Staff, Joint Force Headquarters, District of Columbia National Guard, Washington D.C. In this role, she is responsible for overseeing and managing the development, execution and evaluation of joint staff programs and policies pertaining to the command, control and operation of joint functions within the District of Columbia Army and District of Columbia Air National Guard. She manages readiness of joint defense programs to include the 33rd WMD-Civil Support Team, Homeland Response Force, State Partnership Program, Counter Drug Task Force, and Defense Support to Civil Authorities.

Colonel Clifford M. Taylor is the Commander, 113th Wing, District of Columbia Air National Guard, Joint Base Andrews, Md. His responsibilities encompass a wing with over 1,100 members. Flying units within the wing include the 121st Fighter and 201st Airlift Squadrons. The 121st is responsible for F-16C missions including overseas combat operations and the 24/7 National Capital Aerospace Control Alert duty and the 201st utilizes the C-40C to execute special air missions for cabinet officials and Congressional members.

CW5 Robert W. Gibson is the Command Chief Warrant Officer for the District of Columbia National Guard. He is the top Warrant Officer advisor to the D.C. National Guard’s Commanding General, the Adjutant General, and Land Component Commander. CW5 Gibson is the D.C. National Guard's seventh Command Chief (CCWO) as the most specialized skilled expert responsible for being technically and tactically proficient able to provide leadership and training in functional areas. As the primary advisor to commanders at all levels, he's counted on to provide solutions to complex problems.

CMSgt Lauren Williams is the Wing Command Chief of the 113th Wing, District of Columbia Air National Guard, Joint Base Andrews, Maryland. CMSgt Williams serves as the key enlisted advocate and advisor to the Wing Commander on operational effectiveness and training of the Wing’s enlisted Airmen. She is a key member of the command’s leadership team and works with other enlisted leaders to include the State Command Chief, Group Senior Enlisted Leaders, and First Sergeants concerning enlisted matters.

Command Sergeant Major James Perrault was born in Stuttgart, Germany. He enlisted in the Massachusetts Army National Guard on June 26, 1993, and completed Basic Training at Fort Jackson, South Carolina. He then went on to Advanced Individual Training at Fort Lee, Virginia. He began his career as a 77F Petroleum Supply Specialist, joining the 181st Infantry Company, Worcester, MA. Later in CSM Perrault’s career he became an 88M attending the Motor Transporter Course assigned to the 1166th Transportation Company in Ware, MA He served in numerous roles from wheeled vehicle driver to Squad Leader. He was deployed to Ft. Bragg, North Carolina in 2003 in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and then again in 2010 to Kuwait with 1166th HET Company as a platoon Sergeant and Acting First Sergeant in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation New Dawn. His previous assignments include: Senior Truckmaster, 1060th Transportation Company in Framingham, MA. Senior Truckmaster, 1166th Transportation Company in Worcester, MA First Sergeant,1166th Transportation Company. Command Sergeant Major, 164th Transportation Battalion. Operations Sergeant Major, 151 Regional Support Group. Command Sergeant Major, 151 Regional Support Group. Command Sergeant Major Perrault’s military awards and decorations include the Legion of Merit, Bronze Star Medal, Meritorious Service Medal with one oak leaf cluster, Army Commendation Medal, Air Force Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal with Four Oak Leaf Clusters, Iraq Campaign Medal with 2 Campaign Stars, Noncommissioned Professional Development Ribbon with Numeral 5. CSM Perrault is a graduate of the Sergeants Major Academy, Class 47. Command Sergeant Major Perrault lives in Ashburnham, MA with his wife Nicole, children Travis & Jillian and their beloved boxer Cora.

LTC Paul Grandpierre is a native New Yorker currently serving as the Staff Judge Advocate with the District of Columbia National Guard (DCNG). He received his direct commission in the Army in 2009 and completed the 180th Judge Advocate Officer Basic Course in May 2010. Since commissioning, LTC Grandpierre has served in both traditional and full-time roles with the DCNG.

CH (COL) Vincent A. Cummings serves as Command Chaplain for The District Of Columbia National Guard. He provides executive leadership in delivery of Religious Support, across the District Of Columbia Army & Air National Guard, as a Dual Status Military Technician. Chaplain Cummings additionally serves as a member of Special Staff, advising the Commanding General on all matters pertaining to Religious Affairs, for the District Of Columbia National Guard
