Additionally, four members of the DC National Guard’s 257th Army Band performed with the New York Army National Guard's 42nd Infantry Division Band in the parade, representing the National Guard at a special request.

The exercise tested the unit’s on-site assessment, hazard mitigation, communication setup, decontamination operations, safety measures, medical monitoring and coordination with local civilian agencies under the Incident Command System.

Command Sergeant Major Octavia V. Williamson currently serves as the Senior Enlisted Leader to the Commanding General of the Land Component Command. In this role, CSM Williamson is the principal military advisor to the Commanding General on all matters concerning the Army enlisted force. She sets the standard and enforces policies, regulations, and directives, serving as a vital extension of the Commander’s intent, vision, and mission execution. CSM Williamson is also responsible for the health, discipline, morale, and welfare of enlisted personnel across the formation.
