National Guard’s Commanding General, the Adjutant General, and Land Component Commander. CW5 Gibson is the D.C. National Guard's seventh Command Chief (CCWO) as the most specialized skilled expert responsible for being technically and tactically proficient able to provide leadership and training in functional areas. As the primary advisor to commanders at all levels, he's counted on to provide solutions to complex problems.

U.S. Soldiers from the Alabama Army National Guard arrive at Joint Base Andrews, Maryland, to support the Joint Task Force–District of Columbia’s security mission in Southeast D.C. with foot patrols and medic support. About 2,300 National Guard members are supporting the D.C. Safe and Beautiful mission providing critical support to the D.C.
