WASHINGTON - Brig. Gen. Craig M. Maceri is commander for the Land Component Command (LCC), District of Columbia National Guard. He assumes the command-and-control responsibilities for the eight major subordinate commands in the District of Columbia Army National Guard. In times of need, he serves as the Joint Task Force Commander for district emergencies and Dual Commander should Title 32 forces be requested to support the District of Columbia.

U.S. Soldiers from the Alabama Army National Guard arrive at Joint Base Andrews, Maryland, to support the Joint Task Force–District of Columbia’s security mission in Southeast D.C. with foot patrols and medic support. About 2,300 National Guard members are supporting the D.C. Safe and Beautiful mission providing critical support to the D.C.
