National Guard (DCNG) Soldiers and Airmen partner with the Washington Metropolitan Police Dept. to provide crowd management at designated metro stations throughout the district in support of #4thofJuly activities. Service members also provide directions, answer questions, or simply acknowledge appreciation from event attendees.  
Each year, DCNG assists district agencies with #IndependenceDay efforts, as well as other annual celebrations and support needs.
The D.C. National Guard is #AlwaysReady #AlwaysThere as many of the service members #LiveHere, #WorkHere, and #ServeHere.
