D.C. National Guard (DCNG) members received their reception briefing and swore in with the Washington Metropolitan Police Dept. with crowd management at designated metro stations throughout the district in support of #4thOfJuly activities. Additionally, the Soldiers and Airmen of the 33rd Civil Support Team are supporting DC Fire And EMS with detecting and mitigating chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear hazards. 
Each year, DCNG assists district agencies with #IndependenceDay efforts, as well as other annual celebrations and support needs.
The DCNG is #AlwaysReady #AlwaysThere as many of the service members #LiveHere, #WorkHere, and #ServeHere.
