The D.C. National Guard (DCNG) Family Program staff conducted a tour of their center and United Service Organizations lounge at the DCNG Armory for the child and youth coordinators for The National Guard Bureau, Arizona Department of Emergency and Military  Affairs and Massachusetts National Guard — The Nation's First, and Army and region teen panel delegates for the National Guard as a part of the 4-H Military Partnership national conference visit. 
According to 4-hmilitarypartnerships.org, 4-H Military Partnership creates opportunities and provides support to military connected youth whether they live on or near an installation, in our communities, or on overseas installations. 4-H clubs provide consistency in belonging and an opportunity to develop life skills through a positive youth development framework.
While there, the representatives met with Brig. Gen. Aaron R Dean II, adjutant general, DCNG, to discuss the conference, their goals, and respective family program initiatives. 
Prior to touring the DCNG Armory, the teen and adult representatives briefed various topics at various agencies on behalf of the National Guard.
