Army National Guard? -Almost 10 years Why is this mission important to you? -This mission is important to me because it is an opportunity for me to learn operations, especially with the part of the mission I am supporting. I work in the JOC, the joint operations center. I am supporting the mission from there as the battle captain. The JOC serves as the hub of information. A lot of information comes in and out from various sources. In cases like this, all the information comes in here. We have a liaison at all of those places to make sure that information is disseminated to the right people, including DC National Guard leadership and other elements supporting the mission.
