Cheh was promoted to lieutenant colonel while serving as the Bilateral Affairs Officer for the District of Columbia National Guard (DCNG) in Burkina Faso. The DCNG and Burkina Faso has been partners under The National Guard State Partnership Program since 2019.

Since 2019, the National Guard of the District of Columbia has been a partner with the Burkina Armed Forces for bilateral collaboration under the State Partnership Program in the areas of logistics, military law, humanitarian aid disaster relief, military police and supporting the religious families. This partnership is one of the strongest pillars of the US government's security cooperation with Burkina Faso. We are proud of our long history of working alongside the Burkina people on these issues that are so important to Burkina Faso's security.
Today, we are proud to announce that Tibu Cheh, the Bilateral Affairs Officer of the @TAG, was officially promoted to Lieutenant Colonel at a ceremony attended by members of the American Embassy community. Caine and the Burkina Armed Forces LTC Cheh has been working for more than two years with a dedicated team of Burkina counterparts to share their expertise and support each other's interests. At his promotion ceremony, he mentioned everything he learned during his time in Burkina Faso and how impressed he is by the commitment of the soldiers he has with in the Burkina Armed Forces to ensure a safe future and secure dispersed in Burkina Faso. Congratulations LTC Cheh!

Lafrederick Conley, a culinary specialist with the 642nd Quartermaster Detachment, leads daily dining facility operations during Annual Training at Fort Indiantown Gap, Pennsylvania, on Jun. 5, 2025. Culinary specialists and noncommissioned officers take pride in fueling the force, ensuring Soldiers receive the nutrition needed to sustain mission readiness.
