Washington D.C. - Capital Guardians shared their experiences about September 11 during Task Force Tribute; a veteran inspired journey of remembrance, honoring the 7,054 military members lost during combat operations since September 11, 2001. The journey crossed America and culminated in the Nation's Capital today.

Alabama National Guard supports JTF -DC patrols

U.S. Soldiers from the Alabama Army National Guard arrive at Joint Base Andrews, Maryland, to support the Joint Task Force–District of Columbia’s security mission in Southeast D.C. with foot patrols and medic support. About 2,300 National Guard members are supporting the D.C. Safe and Beautiful mission providing critical support to the D.C.
