Maj. Gen. Sherrie L. McCandless, commanding general, District of Columbia National Guard, served as a guest speaker for the National Guard Chiefs Orientation Course. As the senior enlisted rank in the Air Force, Chief Master Sergeants from 33 states attended the course to collaborate and improve their knowledge on complex subject matters such as defense strategy, deployment and readiness. Among the facilitators and administrators were Capital Guardians, Chief Master Sgt. Sheron Mason and Senior Master Sgt.
