The inaugural event for the District of Columbia National Guard (DCNG) Care Team included a collective of personnel who provide services which take care of the health and well being of Airmen, Soldiers and their families. The Care Team is an initiative to facilitate collaboration among those who support the “people” of the DCNG. The meetings are designed to sync efforts so any part of the team can connect those in need to the best support resources. 
Participants include: The Adjutant General, Director of Manpower and Personnel (J1), Sexual Assault Response Coordinator, Directors of Psychological Health, Military One Source, National Guard Bureau Warrior Resiliency, Personnel Financial Counselor, Substance Abuse and Suicide Prevention, Medical Detachment, Medical Group, Yellow Ribbon, Reserve Component Transition Advisor, Military Resiliency, Soldier and Family Readiness, and Military and Family Readiness.
Points of contact are Army Lt. Col. Brooke Heintz Morrissey and Mrs. Renee Bangura.
