WASHINGTON, D.C. - District of Columbia National Guard members mobilized today to support multiple civilian agencies to include Mayor Muriel Bowser’s office, the D.C. Department of Homeland Security and Emergency Management, and Metropolitan Police Department in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic on March 24, 2020.. The DCNG soldiers are manning street closure checkpoints and will provide support for medical screening, transportation, logistics and more as needed. (U.S. Air National Guard photo by Staff Sgt.
