CW4 Bernard L. Aguon is the Command Chief Warrant Officer for the District of Columbia Army National Guard. He is the top Army Warrant Officer advisor to the D.C. National Guard’s Commanding General, the Adjutant General, and Land Component Commander.
CW4 Aguon is the D.C. National Guard's sixth Command Chief as the most specialized skilled expert responsible for being technically and tactically proficient able to provide leadership and training in functional areas. As the primary advisor to commanders at all levels, he's counted on to provide solutions to complex problems.
CW4 Aguon comes from the Guam National Guard, serving on Title 10 in the Army National Guard Directorate (G1). A veteran of 33 years and Guam native, he served most recently as the Senior Personnel Advisor assigned to the Human Resource Information Systems Division, National Guard Bureau.
CW4 Aguon’s awards and decorations include the Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal, Air Force Achievement Medal, Combat Action Badge, Army Staff Identification Badge, Basic Recruiter Badge.
He is a graduate of the Warrant Officer Senior Service Education Course, Adjutant General Warrant Officer Advanced Course, General Construction Equipment Operators Course, and holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Liberty University.
