The D.C. Army National Guard (DCNG) will open its first storefront recruiting office in the District in more than a decade during a ceremony at 10 a.m. Friday, March 18, 2022. Members of the media are invited to tour the new office and to interview senior D.C. Army National Guard leaders.

WHO: DCNG commanding general Maj. Gen. Sherrie McCandless and other DCNG senior leaders, former DCNG commanding general and current U.S. House of Representatives Sergeant at Arms William Walker, director of the D.C. Homeland Security and Emergency Management Agency Dr. Christopher Rodriguez will attend.
WHY: The opening of the recruiting office in downtown D.C. further cements the D.C. National Guard as an integral part of the District community, increases the Guard’s visibility in the District and allows easy access to DCNG recruiters.
