HIGHLIGHT: "I am Staff Sgt. Arlene Gudiel. I was born and raised in Guatemala, and I came to the United States when I was seven years old. I enlisted in the Army in 2016, and it’s been one of the greatest blessings in my life. I am a first-generation Soldier and have paved the way for all the future generations that follow. By joining the DCARNG, I also became the first in my family to obtain my bachelor's degree. I couldn’t be more grateful for all the opportunities."
